Admittedly my research into internet marketing has been on a hit and miss basis and it has only been since August of 2011 that I decided to burn all my bridges and concentrate my income earning efforts solely on internet based income streams.

This decision is based primarily on the fact that my duties as a Pastor require the bulk of my time and partly because my biblical research has revealed certain signs of our time that I believe will make internet marketing the best way to survive what may be coming down the road.

In November of 2011 I decided to cease everything step back and reassess everything that I have done in the past. I have taken the time to seek out experts and learn about what is working now and what is not.

Trust me the worthless noise put out by the online marketing community can at times be overwhelming and useless. I have decided to narrow my marketing efforts into four categories.

1. Viral Marketing or word of mouth marketing (increasing in potency due to Social Marketing)
2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
3. Social Media Marketing (still in its infancy and evolving)
4. The KLT Principal (Know - Like - Trust) commonly associated with list building through email lists and forums but know expanding into other types of social communities.

However no tool our resource is a substitute for work. In fact the only thing more effective than work is working smarter. Starting January 2012 I will be documenting how I implement and put these strategies to work. Much of the information that I give out from this blog will be free however you may find that I have taken the same information and packaged it into a saleable products that are not free.

So if you are fortunate enough to discover this blog you may just want to bookmark it and check back periodically to see what it is that I am cooking up. I will reveal the good the bad and the ugly so looking forward to you joining me on this journey.
